i am caucasion with very curly and coarse hair 4 months ago i had it relaxed with a product for afro hair and am very pleased with the results i was told the relaxer removed the calcium from the hair so it became soft and silkier, i dont want to use relaxer again for some time and am wondering if there is an product on the market to remove the calcium build up from hair ,thankyou

Relaxers dont remove calcium. They work like an inverted perm, instead of rolling up the hair for curls - relaxer is applied to hair and combed straight.

Takes a long time as its done in sections, with straightners to break the natural bond.

yes i know relaxing works like a reverse perm (thats why i had it done!) what i want is a prduct that will make my hair soft and silky like it is after it has been relaxed 3 people have told me it is the build up of calcium in hair which makes it course and the relaxer contributed to remove calcium !
Deep conditioning needed, leave on overnight with showercap to contain heat.
