Thing I cant understand psychiatrist gave me zopiclone for sleeping for nearly 6 months she said they are not as likely to cause dependance...
Well I am dopey in the morning Rowan, every morning without exception. Like a Zombie as I said. So it might be the Citolapram I take in the morning makes it worse. Perhaps if I take it at night it might make me sleep better and thus not be so dopey. Trial and error I suppose. In the back of my mind I think I have been told by a GP that citolapram actually doesn't make you sleepy (quiet the reverse) and to take it in the morning because it will stop me sleeping at night.
But I am going to try taking it at night. It won't hurt.

For years I have been suffering from insomnia and am now on sleeping pills now for 3 years I dont feel I am addicted not for one bit but one thing I do know I sleep - even if I get five -6 hours - that is wonderful to me and I dont get up like a miserable oul bear and tired and fatigued that I want to back to bed again. God bless sleeping pills. If you cant get them from Doctor get Sominex over the counter - they are the nearest but a cup of warm milk 2 of those and you drift. Good luck because I have been through it all. Good luck Jen
I have been an insomniac for many years and find that the only way that I can get any sleep at all is to listen to books on tape. I listen to a lot of murder mysteries like Agatha Christie novels as I find that if I am concentrating on listening to the person on the tape speaking, it sends me to sleep. It does not do much for Mr Bagpuss who has to go to sleep every night listening to murder but he can sleep through anything, the lucky git!
