I had a total hip replacement 8 months ago. It has been brilliant but I do not know what exercises I am allowed to do. I know I cannot swim as I can only do breast stroke but can I do things like go on the treadmill? Any suggestions please.

Many thanks. I was told at the hospital that I could swim but NOT the breastroke.
I was advised not to do the breast stroke after my hip op pamnez and I can't do the crawl. It looks like I'll have to do a doggy paddle version the next time I go. Just try the low impact exercises and stop if you feel unsure about anything, I tended to overdo it and find it hard to walk the next day.
