Cannot understand why some conditions warrant free prescriptions & others do not. I have a Daughter who suffers from Lupus & has to take lots of tablets it costs her a fortune !!!!
Thanks for your support mamyalnne & phleb Lupus is a terrible complaint & she will need medication for the rest of her life. But what can we do about it ?????
Trouble is, if prescriptions were free here in England, the NHS is currently so cash strapped that something else would have to go, to pay for the huge drugs bill. We've have to go without something else, to see free scripts.

all prescriptions should be free...check out your monthly n.i contributions [if you work]...are prescriptions free for pensioners??..sorry to sound ignorant but i dont know...
