Any ideas (other than a pin) on how to relieve trapped wind?

I honestly feel like you could tie a string to my leg and fly me like a balloon.

anything pepperminty. Sips of hot water or hot tea. A hot water bottle or heat pad. walk about.

Thanks Tilly, I'll get some in case of future episodes, but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions using something I might have in the house?

Mr P suggested doing star jumps, but I'm afraid for the floor boards.

I'll aim away from the open fire, Mazie.
A fizzy drink like a coke, cherryade or lemonade usually does the trick for me, 2sp.....I just wouldnt stand behind me for a bit.......

You could try maybe Windeze tablets which are very good for trapped wind....you should have a late opening chemist, usually in large supermarkets too, if you need some now.

If there are reports of an earthquake in the Highlands overnight, you'll know why.
Bicarbonate of soda. Don't take too much though or you'll be in the loo all night. Half a teaspoon in warm water.
NO....we don't want an explosion at 2sp Towers !
distilled water. boil a kettle, [let it cool] sip it very slowly. It's worked in the past for mrs. b! Sip it while still hot [not scalding, obviously]
have you touched your toes yet? Keep doing it it will work. Either that or you;ll fall to sleep from exhaustion. xx
A teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda in a drop of warm water. Drink it in one go.
Iron Bru works very well at getting rid of wind.
Trampolining is good for shifting things.
