Wondering if anyone knows if pain in a calf would be constant or could it come and go over a few weeks (getting worse and more frequent) if there was a possible DVT and are if there any additional risk factors for DVT if someone has previously had a stroke?

Not asking for me.

Thanks for anyone who can help.

If there is no swelling in the leg, then the picture that you have painted does NOT cry out "DVT."

Ah, phew, thanks Sqad :) A friend was worried that was what they might have but not keen on going to the docs!

Feet have been swelling but not calves I think. That's a relief, thank you.

Bit of an update on my knee - GP thinks it's a problem with the meniscus (sp?) so is seeing about a scan. Got similar pain in one knee but feels like the same thing in both - I seem to have a bad side which cops it worse than the other side first! Weirdly enough it's my worse Meniere's ear side too!

Argh, fuzzy head tonight! Worse pain in one knee but similar in the other even.
LOL...perhaps you were born (lop sided) ;-)

Haha, maybe so! :) It's my lazy eye side too - maybe I'm half defective and the other side just feels left out! ;)
You might not believe it, but drinking water helps flush out a lot of toxins in your body and can make a lot of pains go away. After the pain goes away, start adding a few yoga poses to keep it feeling good.

Not sure if you will catch this sqad but it's thrombosis.

Can I ask how dangerous this could be for someone (only 50s) with a previous history of a stroke?

Sorry, just testing as my last post didn't seem to appear in the Latest Posts.
