I know exactly what you feel like when a close family member was diagnosed in December with cancer. We are still positive and things are going as well as possible...no consolation but try to keep upbeat when you can...though I know just how difficult it will be. {{hugs}}
I can only imagine what you must be thinking, I would go to pieces I'm sure. But take heart and listen to Sqad, as an retired consultant he has the most experience and DTC is very sensible, calming and kind - in fact most ABers are very kind, they pick you up when you are feeling down, listen and encourage - that is the nice side of AB and making friends on here. Thinking of you Mally x
Hey Mally,
I had cervical cancer in 2011, everyone one on here was amazing! With any luck your daughters has been picked up as early as mine and it really will be over before you know it! Mine was cured with surgery, I had my cervix removed and that was followed by a hysterectomy a couple of months later, just to get rid of a few stray cells and job done :0)
I know a diagnosis of cancer knocks you on your bum, but you have to be strong for her. I wish I'd had my Dad [don't talk to my mum lol] there for me.... anyone really lol... I just got this lot ;0) So be strong!!!
Healing thoughts from me to her
