If your lymph nodes were swollen, would they jump out at you or do you have to really have a good push around to feel them?

I've been having a pain right inside my leg, on my inside knicker line. When I had a feel, it didn't feel too bad but it I open my legs slightly, I think it does feel a bit swollen compared to the other side. Is this even where your lymph nodes would be? I would say that it's right on the inner crease and even as far as the outside of my genitals.

Argh, I'm worried :(

Don't worry.

Depends which lymph nodes are involved.

Some "jump out at you", others are only found by "digging around".

The groin is particularly difficult as the lymph glands there are often palpable and tender when normal.

if you feel that there is a swelling in your groin, see your doctor as it may well be nothing to do with your lymph glands...it may be a hernia.

Thanks Sqad. I think I am scared as I am waiting to have a breast scan early next month. Been having lots of pains in one breast and it felt quite lumpy. Went to GP before Christmas who said it's prob nothing serious but did comment it did feel quite lumpy. She felt my armpit for a lump (no lump thank goodness). Now I have been worrying that I've got something awful and it's spread but I'm hoping it wouldn't happen that quickly.
Miss C........your groin nodes will have NOTHING to do with your breast problem.
