I don't want to do weights or go on machines at the Gym as I hate that environment. Will swimming tone up the saggy bits? if so how long every day? Anyone got a piece of kit (machinery, gadget) at home that they swear by? Need to tone up waist and legs and upper arms. Thanks

Swimming is the perfect way to tone up you legs, waist and upper arms. Start slow for about 20mins steady pace lane swimming, 3 times a week. Then, keep to the 3 times a week, but slowly increase the time you swim for (say, 4 lengths more each week per session). If you find that certain areas need more work than others i.e. your legs, use a small float to rest your arms...

Just go walking, at a brisk pace.

Go round the block a few times or up to the local park and back.

VHG we live in a rural place and I know it may sound a bit silly, but I would be very wary about walking alone and I don't have a dog to take with me. I do work in Town four days a week but have to be in the shop all day, then get straight home.
Retrochic - did you see this from Tilly?

Hand weights or resistance bands can be used in the home, you can find instructional videos on YouTube.

If you find that certain areas need more work than others i.e. your legs, use a small float to rest your arms and just use you legs to kick a few lengths in each session.
You will be amazed how effective swimming can be.
If not, try cycling around the country lanes near you - perfect for your upper legs especially if you have some inclines.
Good Luck :-) and have fun
