It has to be the bike these days. I would prefer the treadmill, but spinal arthritis prevents too much fast walking or jobbing.
I'm getting a treadmill for Christmas, I had a stationary bike but gave it away as the type of exercise didn't suit my level of mobility.
My physio advised the treadmill as a suitable replacement.
Try a car.

Why didn't you just freewheel downhill ?
