I'm a Type 2 diabetic. Part of my medication was taking Adalat tablets twice a day. This morning, picking up my latest prescription, I was given 10mg Nifedipine (Tensipine)in lieu of the Adalat tablets, which apparently are currently no longer available.
Can anyone tell me, is there any significant difference between the two?
Mind you, googling "Adalat" would have explained....Adalat is simply a brand-name of the drug nifedipine, it's generic name. Don't be surprised if next time you get a different brand-name on the box!
