"Long haul???" Exhausting, sitting for long hours. If you were my wife, I would not let you go on a long haul flight for at least 6 weeks following an uneventful recovery from a laparoscopic hysterectomy. Post operative or recovery complications would lengthen my time advice.

I would say between 6- 8 weeks. Best to ask appropriate medical people. Just had hysterectomy that was myself.

I was told 6 weeks and I only had minor surgery.

Plus...think about your insurance.
"1 to 2 days after keyhole surgery "

From the link of APG of the CAA...I totally disagree.
An airline wouldn't carry you for 10 days after abdominal surgery but the practicalities of a hysterectomy would make it longer than that (lifting cases, reaching into overhead lockers etc)
