My 17yr old grand daughter is struggling with tampons I feel silly asking this question but when she puts one in she can’t get it out and calls me to pull it out she lives with me.
Is there something she is doing wrong. Sorry I’m late 50;s and been years since I’ve dealt with this myself.

If she’s leaving them for 4 - 5 hours plus and they are still not full, then I don’t think she she should use tampons. She’d be better off with panty liners as she’s not losing enough blood, or whatever you call it.
I can clearly remember (a long, long time ago) when I used a tampon for the very first time that I really struggled to pull it out, it seemed as if I was going to pull my insides out and I had to grit my teeth and just tug. When you're young and not too confident about just how tough us ladies are it can be quite scarey.
