Poorly Baby - Again

I’m about to take my poorly two year old grandson to the doctors AGAIN - yesterday he came off a double course of antibiotics and twice in the week leading up to 6th he was taken to hospital- once with temp of 40 degrees and a couple of days after that with a rah all over his body - hence double dose of antibiotics. He already has an appointment with the paediatrician in January about his almost constant illness
Can anyone suggest questions I could ask the doctors
I’m sure they are doing their best but it doesn’t seem right that a toddler is so constantly ill

could they check for allergies?

are you sure that you can only see a pediatrician in January, and not before.

the reason i ask about allergies, is that i found i was allergic to penicillin by being given antibiotics for a chest infection and i came out in an all over body rash.
