Mating
I took my new girlfriend for a walk the other evening and we passed a farm. We saw a dog mating. My girlfriend asked: "When does the male dog know when the female is ready for sex?"
"By it's smell," I replied. "It's how nature works."
Then as we walked on there was a ram mating with a sheep. "Well how would that ram know when the sheep was ready for mating?" She asked.
"Same with them," I replied, "By smell, it's how nature works."
We then walked by another pasture where a bull was mating with a cow. "Wow!!" My girlfriend yelled, "They're really going at it, surely the bull can't smell when she's ready."
"Yes of course it's by the smell, it's nature. All animals can smell when the time is ready for mating."
Anyway after the walk I dropped her off at home and kissed her goodnight. "Take care, oh and by the way," She said. "Get yourself tested for Covid-19."
Surprised I asked her why she said that. "Well you seem to have lost your sense of smell."
