I had an eye biopsy in October and during the procedure they burst a blood vessel at the back of my eye (Vitreous Haemorrhage) This has left me with blurry vision and partially blind in the one eye. I,ve been told that it will take months to clear. Has anybody else experienced this and how long did it take to actually clear.
Thanks.

I hope you're claiming for compensation Issi; that is NOT normal.
coccinelle......c'mom, of course it is not normal, but it is not uncommon. Are you suggesting that there is negligence here, if so, it will be refuted (quite rightly) and if you are not, then there is no reason for compensation.

In ANY surgical proceedure, blood vessels bleed, but that does not necesarrily invoke a plea for negligence.
I got a knock on the head playing rugby and my eye filled with blood. Only took about 3 weeks to clear and no problems since. Hope yours is going to be OK. Good luck.
