Tamirra - there is nothing wrong with you love. You just have a few issues you need to talk about, smooth out, and put behind you. You'll get there - you've already taken the first few hard steps....

Do you think it could be down to either, i have OCD or the rape, and that is still vivid in my mind.

That's the trouble tamirra - after all this time, the memories are too vivid. The counselling should help with that - you may never forget what happened, but one day, with help, I hope they fade to such an extent you can put them behind you. The counselling should help with the OCD also.

lol i know it should be one step, but i want it all now which just is not possible, but im willing to keep trying, ive self helped myself alot with the OCD without any counselling im not anywhere near as bad as i was, its just that i know my daughter got over being raped 4 years ago without help and i was just hoping i could do the same, but obviously mine was many more years before her`s happened and it just proves i need proffessional help

Salla said it in her last post that you have just a few issues to talk about, smooth over so you can put all these memories and doubts behind you for ever.

Go to the counselling sessions and discuss what you're feeling now, and what you've achieved and all your doubts and fears will , hopefully, be gone for ever, so you can move on and be just what you are........a lovely human being....and get on with your life.
