generally helpful is either warmth or cold. A bag of frozen peas wrapped on a towel and placed on the epicentre of the pain, or a hot water bottle likewise, or you can get heat and cold pads at the chemist now. Are you using any painkillers?

i've had rotator cuff tendonitis - very very painful. One wrong move of the head, or even the foot can be excrutiating!
My thoughts are with you midagetrolop.
I can only advise you to take the all drugs they offer - and be very patient.
Mine took a long time to go - but it WILL go.
big hug ♥ (but not too tight!)

I have stopped all sports some time ago and rested it, but it's not getting any better. The physio diagnosed it and I have had ultrasonics and massage, which did relieve it a little, am taking painkillers occasionally, but don't like taking them often if I can manage without. Just thought somebody might have some ideas. I know it can last for some time because I had plantar fasciatis some years ago and it took about 18 months before it went completely.
