I am in pain everyday but you just have to get on with it. I can't spend my life sat on my bum all day. I take painkillers (which do little to help) and just go about my life as best as possible. The sad thing is, is that I have got so used to being in pain that it seems normal to me now.
Time it for when your painkillers are at their most effective....usually about 30 mins after taking them and do a few short walks ....make sure you have shoes/trainers with lots of shock absorbing lining, and combine with another exercise that is non weight bearing like swimming or less weight bearing like cycling.....and rest properly between exercise sessions
Join the club, you just have to keep going regardless. Many is the time in a morning when I think i'm not going to get out of bed but you just pull yourself together and get on with it.I also think of all the people who are far worse off then me,and all the poorly little mites who have not had a life yet.So chin up,keep going.
can you take other exercise to boost the amount that you do? seated leg raises. weight lifting with cans of beans/veggies/soup....it all counts. If it makes you breathless its aerobic too.
