Do red and green days mean you can eat meat one day and veg the next?
SOrry to be so dim... I just don't want to sign up to an online thing before I completely understand what I'm getting in to and what others experiences have been. I lost weight before using weight watchers and now that I need to lose some again, I just feel that I would do better on some sort of plan but I have zilch interest in classes.
Red days consist of mostly protein with limited carbs. Green days consist of endless amounts of potato and pasta with limited meat. You can eat huge amounts of food on both green and red days. It is a good diet, China. Well worth a go. I lost all my baby weight very quickly using mostly green days. Lots of "Free" foods too, which you can eat endless supplies of.x
Thanks Katie... Is it difficult to do if there's two of you? As in do you have to make seperate meals etc as I don't necessarily want the man hostage put on an enforced diet because of me... Mainly because I don't want him to stop being the main cook! ;0)
No, not at all. For example, if you were on a green day and you were having spag bol - you could have loads of pasta with a smaller portion of sauce and blokey could have his usual serving. Might be an idea for you to pick up a slimming world magazine next time you're at the newsagents to see what I mean.x
They have a mag?! OOooh, thursday is my crappy mags day as well, I like doing the puzzles so will add that to the list! Thanks Katie, appreciate the advice :c)
China doll - what Kate has described is the old version of Slimming World - (although some people still do it) The Extra Easy way is being able to eat the protein and the veg including potato and pasta, rice etc together. The only things that are restricted are cerals/bread etc and dairy products and what SW term Syns - all the goodies like choc and alcohol. It's a very health diet which basically goes back to basics. I've lost 17lbs in 15 weeks and have been out for a curry/ drank red wine every weekend! I go to class because it motivates me but I have a friend who lost 3 stone doing it by herself. The magazine is brill by the way with loads of recipes. Good luck!
Helloooooo.....what "Kate" described was the answer to China's question, which was.... "Do red and green days mean you can eat meat one day and veg the next?"
