If an elderly relative died at home during the night, who would you ring?

I don't mean family, i mean doctors/hospital, etc?

The doctors will obviously be shut & it obviously won't be a 999 emergency.

uuuuum, that's why I posted tht we should just abandon the thread!.........
Very hard to do with such an emotive subject and the dismissive answers from the person who brought the subject up.

Chris, do you agree that your son would be very upset if you took your life?
trim, see uuuuum's last post!...........but that's it for me tonight!........you can all do as you like!..............

I'm really finding this thread very difficult to read and I know before anyone tells me I could just stop reading it but I can't.
Mrs C:
Despite what other may have said about by willingness to upset people, I've been deliberately 'standing aside' (while keeping an eye on the thread) for quite some time. I'm happy to go along with Welshlribranr's suggestion to close the thread but I also feel obligated to answer your direct question:

All I can say is that my lad has a copy of my will and I hope that he'd be happy to know that he'd finally be receiving what I'd promised him.
you say "keeping an eye" like you've been behaving like a responsible adult, and you haven't.

in "normal" circumstances, some of your posts would have been removed.
And, if this thread has gone downhill in anyway, the blame lies solely at your feet Chris...
Buenchico, I'm sure that when the time comes the only thing that will be going through your lad's mind is that his dad's died, if you get your way, by suicide. I doubt your last will and testament will be much comfort to him at that time.
if everyone just reports the post it will go. Finished. Bye
Sorry Chris but you didn't answer my question. My question is "Would he be upset to know that you took your life?"

Have you ever discussed this with him?
Would you like another spoon chappie?
Once again, I'd rather not drag this thread out but I still fell obligated to reply. Dax knows that I intend to depart this life when I choose to do so. I can't know what's inside his mind but I assume that, whenever it happens, the news of my death won't be any great surprise to him (and the letter which I've already written to him tells him exactly how I'd like my death to be joyously celebrated).
Well good luck with that Buenchico.

It won't be a great surprise Chris, but I'm willing to bet that he'd rather have you around than whatever he's going to receive in the will.

Anyone got something nice to do this morning?
