I am having radiotherapy daily for three more weeks. Need factor 50 suntan protector. Which one should I buy please?

I have to have three more weeks of radiotherapy, daily from Monday to Friday. I have been told that I need to buy myself some Factor 50 suntan/protector. It should not have any metals in it I have been told because of the radiotherapy I am receiving. Does anyone know please which brand I should buy?

I had my scan done twenty minutes early and was told I could have been scanned even earlier. This was because several patients had not turned up for their appointments. I was told that there was normally a two week wait to be scanned.

I'm all right I think albaquerty. Thank you for asking. I'm glad that I'm still going to work, it keeps my feet on the ground. Today though I went to a solicitors' office and asked them all 'anyone in the mood to write me a will this afternoon?' I was introduced to a lovely lady who started one and it's now in draft form. Well I should have written a will ages ago. Pleased with myself that I started the ball rolling today. :-)

Fingers crossed and all the rest - and having a will is just plain sensible, doesnt matter how well/ill one is - we could all be hit by a bus or whatever tomorrow..... no black thoughts, now.....positive positive.....and two positives = a positive.

Morning Moyra, I am so pleased to read you have had your scan. As a regular at my hospital, it never ceases to amaze me how many appointments are wasted through patients not cancelling. Bit of sit and wait time now so it is also good news that you are able to continue in your work, I get the feeling you rather enjoy that :) Continuing with the thoughts and prayers - same goes for Mamya, who is currently on holiday. As my cancer has come back and is now in my lymph, I'm going to Histon Parish church to have hands on healing this Monday 25th July at 2.15pm. If anyone wants to come they are more than welcome. If you can't but would like to, then please just think of me at that time.

Moyra I've just read your story and through tears i wish you a speedy recovery, you've been through so much you're a brave lady. You will definately be in my prayers.
Today at the church the vicar is saying prayers for loved ones, I have put your name down for him to dedicate one for you. the power of prayer is overwhelming sometimes.

moyra your's is such a sad story but at least you have losts of support from AB - they aren't a bad lot are they? hope things improve for you - it makes me realise how very lucky I was when I found myself in a similar position as you. Take care and stay positive - don't be beaten! xC
