My son has chickenpox, is there anything I should be wary of because he is older than usual for having this?
My girls were 3 and 5 when they had it and apart from the spots and scratching they were ok.

He told me that as itching was caused by the same nerves that made you feel pain that paracetamol was very effective in giving relief. Seriously! He was an ex Army Medic and very self assured so I naturally believed him!!!
LOL
I know what itchiness is due to just not if the same nerves were involved as in pain.
Anyway, as you said. Who cares!! ;o)
Have a nice evening (I am sitting here with my eyes streaming and stinging like mad ever since I walked out across the fields this morning. I can hardly see - allergy to something out there, 'cos my nose is streaming as well) I look a sight!
Apologies for chatting daffy.
