Had a stye on left lower eyelid...then it switched to lower right
Im using antibiotic eyedrops, no lenses and good handwashinh etc
But both eyes are still sore thats been about 5 days now and including top lids- i did put makeup on last night (i know i shouldnt) even using the brush was sore!!
I have a little white dot under lashline of top lid too- think i have an infection??!
Should i see doc cos OTC drops from
Pharmacy arent working! Xx

Yeah im positive i have an infection either of a little hair follicle or my lids! Threw my lenses away blabla!
But it should have cleared by its self by now i think even without drops. My eyes are too sensitive for words!! I had 5wks off onve my hayfever was so bad :0( its not hayfever though-my tablets are great x

Yes, you DO have an infection. Visit the doc. Antibiotic eyedrops are useless for styes. You need ORAL antibiotics, and soon. Augmentin or Amoxycillin - probably two rounds of either - should help. There's an Amoxycillin which comes as a "Duo" product (i.e., combined with another drug), and it's excellent, but I live in Australia and don't know what you have in your country. Do it NOW! Good luck.
This sounds like Blepharitis and I agree with the post of shnovitz (our Aussie friend) and the treatment lies in daily hygiene, as routine as cleaning your teeth......GOOGLE it.
As shnovitz says......antibiotic drops are useless.....use antibiotic cream and hang back on the oral antibiotics for a week or so.
