Nope, always conscious that there are another 365 days to work with the same people. I worked part time at an office but never went on the nights out with the girls. One of them was famous for getting drunk and stripping off, put me right off.
No I havent, never would, some people just dont know when to stop imbibing...I remember at one 'do' someone drank so much they couldnt walk straight and kept crashing into people and things, they then collapsed in a heap and had to be helped up and propped onto a chair, depends if you know your 'limit' when drinking.
Depends on how you judge disgraced yourself, do any of the following count.....
1. Throwing up in a pub garden.
2. Sleeping with your boss's boss.
3. Telling your boss's, boss's boss he's a twonk.
4. Telling someone that you really disliked them but after a bottle of wine or two I now realise they are actually really, really nice.....and I want to be their best friend.
5. Can't remember the rest........
I'll leave you to decide how much of the above is true.........
1) Shouting to the gathered company "I am a viking and this is my viking man" (there was a story behind this, just don't ask).
2) Throwing up in said viking man's brand new car........
yup.....photocopied my arse....and when i next went into work the little ******* had wallpapered the office with it. t'was quite a graphic picture!!!! x
yes. on my list of don'ts - is company dos and if i'm forced into attending i won't drink. although i'm a little less insane these days so i would probably be ok...
