Earache...
41 Answers
Whenever I go out in the cold, like for a walk or on my bike, I always get earache.
I'm sat here now with my scarf wrapped around my head, trying to warm them up, but it really hurts.
Is this normal/common?

I have found the best way to stop the earache .....is to get into a drunken stupor. Then it's in one ear out the other.

Oh, ok. That's not really the answer I was expecting.
My Dad's always saying he gets earache in the cold weather, so I figured it would be fairly common... :-/
It's something I can always remember getting though. When I was a kid and we used to go and watch the annual carnival, I remember standing there in the cold, all wrapped up but suffering with earache.
What would be the connection with teeth?

Bury my head in a muff?
I'm not that way inclined...
Glad the majority are saying it's common. I didn't think it would be anything to 'worry' about, but it was quite painful when I was just walking home so I did wonder.
It is pretty windy out there, yes. I had my scarf up around my ears and my hoody hood up.
