Miracle Help For My Tootsies Please??!
24 Answers
You know I have plantar fasciitis,in both feet, which has got worse rapidly lately and my doc has referred me to the hospital to see what else they can do.
Well yesterday I had to deliver 1000 leaflets, and after 2 hours walking I was in terrible pain but had no choice but to carry on. By 5.30pm I literally couldnt walk. Had to ring Mr Smow to come and find me and pick me up in the car. During eve had to crawl on hands and knees , looking a right idiot, to get to the loo as literally could not put anyweight on feet at all as the pain was so bad. Have woken up assuming it would have eased but it is exactly the same, and I start new job tomorrow!! Any bright ideas as to what on earth I can do to help myself??? Ive done painkillers and analgesic gel, support socks.....

Had pysio and given exercises..........useless
Bought memory foam heel things, they helped a little.
Lived on painkillers.
Doc and physio said it would just go away on its own, just a matter of time.
( took months!!!!)
All gone now, hooray, but I know how you feel.
Hopefully yours will go soon.
I found that the cheaper (about £2 - £3) memory foam heel wedges were much better than the expensive ones I bought.
I replaced them about every two weeks.
Hope you feel better soon. X

Smow, I'm so sorry I can't help with immediate relief for your pain, but I had what was diagnosed by the NHS as a severe sprain and was on crutches for 6 months. A friend nagged me into going to see a sports injury specialist - and two visits and £80 later - voila! Cured! Plantar fasciitis was his diagnosis. Do, please, try it. Good luck. x
