Almost two weeks ago, I fell in the garden, landing on my bottom (fortunately quite well padded!). When I got up, I realized my wrist was hurting a lot and it's fractured and in plaster. My bottom felt sore for a few days, nothing major and no sign of any bruising. For the last 2/3 days, it's been hurting quite a lot when bending or going upstairs and the pain seems to be coming from the inside. Is it possible to be bruised internally? I feel okay when sitting down.

Bruised coccyx, being what i think is your problem, is extremely painful and may last for many weeks. Ibuprofen may well be you answer.

When I touch or press on the coccyx, there is no feeling/pain whatsoever. Having been sat down at the computer for a while, I feel fine. So I wondered what could be happening when I walked upstairs or bent over in the garden pulling weeds from the lawn. I suppose as the pain goes when resting for a while, it can't be anything serious.

Thanks for taking the trouble to reply.
