That's horrible! Are you sure you're okay? If it's any consolation, it's probably made the driver think, too. Hopefully he'll be more careful in future. But it might take a while to build your confidence back up x
L well it seems like you have your answer there. You should have been wearing your seat belt I suppose
poor thing, do you feel awful ? is it always the same bus driver,
Question Author
yes it is always the same driver, and he drove a lot slower after it happened, but he didn't say sorry.the driver should make sure passengers have seatbelt on as they are all disabled in some way.
kate, give it a few weeks then go again and see if his driving is any better.
Question Author
I have left my name on file so I can rebook it anytime.
Awww SlinkyKate hope you are okay. x
you probably shouldn't go blaming him for not making you wear your belt, that much is your responsibility. Perhaps it was a learning experience for both of you. Hope the pain starts to ease off soonest.
Hope you're soon on the mend, Slinky. xx
sk I read this with horror, of course he should have made sure all his passengers are belted up, sorry I would have reported him so it did not happen again. I hope you are okay ? pls get checked over.
Hope you are better...driver should at least shout out to belt up ! Double meaning there ! Lol...
I hope you're feeling a bit better today slinky.

Try not to let it put you off. Book the bus again when you're feeling better and ask him to help you with the seat belt. Don't let him intimidate you or take away your independence, its too important.
Question Author
I have only started getting some independence after relying on everyone for 7 years,my recovery from illness(brain bleed)has been very long and slow, but I was so proud of mysef for ordering and getting the bus on my own to meet my friend, the reason I did'nt'belt up is because I am obese and didn't think it would fit.never mind I am a lot better today but still a bit sore.i think I will just go with son for the time being til I get my confidence back
hey kte, when i answered yesterday i was on my phone so had to be brief, but i wanted to say that i hope you feel better soon.
Question Author
