Painful Shoulder/neck
2 Answers
Weeks ago I bent down and as I straightened up I stuck the corner of a kitchen cupboard into my shoulder just below where the large neck muscle from the skull meets the shoulder. Needless to say it was very painful and today it is no better.I have been using Movelat cream but it doesn't help,it's been suggested I use Arnica cream. At times some normal neck movements seem to make it worse.
Wondered if any readers have ever had this problem.

The muscle is the trapezius and plays a major part in all shoulder movements so will take time to heal.
No major damage can be done in that area, so it means damage to the muscle fibres will take time to heal.
I am not one for" creams" and would suggest that you take Ibuprofen 600 mgms when and if necessary up to every six hours.
