To Eat Breakfast Or Not To Eat Breakfast That Is The Question.
30 Answers
I have been in either camp up to now and I recently decided to have a go at the "eat breakfast" side again, after 2 days of feeling nauseous straight after eating breakfast I remembered why I stopped before. Anyway we are always being told that breakfast is vital etc etc so I decided to try and figure out why I was feeling sick and I came across this:

so now I'm completely confused! should I eat breakfast and if so how to I stop feeling uncle dick for a couple of hours after?
PS I don't often foray into this section so be gentle ok!

But as we are all different in our metabolism and general constitutions our needs and reactions to food at any given time of day varies widely. Personally, I haven't eaten "breakfast" for many a long year but on the odd occasion I do then I find I don't need anything else until the evening.
maybe you're eating the wrong things? I've never felt anything less than nauseous after a full English, but I cope ok with toast and orange juice. Cereal might be okay even if poached eggs are not.
Bodies do need fuel and the start of the day seems like a good time to put some in. Having to have a dinner that will keep you going for 16 hours sounds like binge eating.

all I had was a bowl of standard unsweetened cereal this morning and I felt like throwing up on the way to work. The thing is though I felt unusually hungry this morning that's rare for me, I normally don't even think of food until abaout 11am that's why I have been a skipper. As I type this I'm feeling much better. The thing is I've always gone with the "eat breakfast" camp as being a good idea in theory but I'm starting to wonder if my body agrees!
I`ve never been able to get up and eat breakfast and it`s never done me any harm. I haven`t eaten anything yet today. I`d just do what you feel like doing. If it makes you nauseous, then don`t do it. Just eat a small amount to keep you going if you need the energy. I don`t care whether "they" say it kick starts your metabolism, is the most important meal of the day etc.
