I had two teeth taken out about a month ago with no problems. Yesterday I felt something sharp in my upper gum where the teeth had been. It looked very red and was a bit sore so I went to see my dentist.

He pulled out a piece of bone and diagnosed, the above. As I have Osteoporosis and have been taking Alendronic Acid for years now, should I go to the doctors and get the medication changed, or is it too late? Cheers.

That's what I thought, Sqad. Bummer!
Hi chrissa, I had something similar years ago... It was just a piece of debris after a difficult extraction.... Link below as to the things it could be.... Don't panic yet x

Thanks, mazie. It was an easy extraction though. Not a "knee on the chest" one.
I'll go and see the Doc, but won't panic.
