I find that when I'm outside in bright sunlight my eyes are sensitive to the sun and I have to squint a lot. Could this be because I have a pale eye colour? My eyes are light green. People with dark brown eyes have more melanin pigment in the front part of their eyes, which might mean they don't have to squint as much.

my eyes are greeny grey and when i go out even if its only slightly sunny i find that i can't really open my eyes properly, friends and aquintences ask me,why are your eyes closed when you;re speking to me, but i can't help it, the sun hurts my eyes and i cant see so i have to wear strong sunglasses.  i also have dibetes so maybe that has something to do with it, my advice is to go to your gp and have it checked out.
I have dark brown eyes that are very sensitive to glare and sunlight, and I squint when I'm outside even with sunglasses on.
