Hey

Not the best of topics i know but does anyone have a quick fix for constipation?

Im at work just now and my stomach is solid and in a bit of pain because of it. To be relieved by the end of the day would be good!

Thanks to any suggestions

Sorry to hear about your discomfort. Fruit juice always does it for me, drink a litre of the stuff and I'm running to the loo.
go to a supermarket and buy some organic Panda liquorice. I know sainsbury's has it in their organic section. This is what we used in the Army. Never fails. Eat as much as you can.
Im not sure of the spelling but go and buy a sopositry supp-os-it-ry from the chemist they are harmless and cheap and very effective. All you have to do is insert it you know where and wait for an hour and hey presto empty bowels.
I'd also recommend liquorice.Alternatively a feed of beer and a packet of cigarettes should have everything cleared by tomorrow morning!!
agree  with severen. This is one of the better options as taking things by mouth sometimes gives you bad stomache pains. These usually take about 15 minutes to work. Just make sure you are near the loo
Not the healthiest option,  but I've always found a couple of ciggies does the job.
Boil a good pan of greens (cabbage, sprouts etc) drain the water let it cool and drink it. Totally yuk but doesnt arf do the job.
If you try the cabbage one its probably best to be in the house alone untill its passed so to speak
liquid parrafin available from the chemist is your best cure..
Try cascamite, but have a toilet close by
Dried apricots! Brilliant!!!
Movicol is very good, you have to by it from the chemists, its what we always use, with 100% success.
Prune juice will set you free.
Having been on a prescription of cocodamol, I found myself a little 'bunged up'. I got some Lactulose which kicked in after about 4 hours. Depends on how iron your stomach is I think.
