Conjunctivitis Won't Go...
24 Answers
Had conjunctivitis couple of days before Christmas. Pharmacist recommended Golden Eye Ointment, which I unfortunately dug the dropper into my right eyeball which then caused the whole white of my right eye to go red!! ... I also got the Golden Eye drops and used both up to New Years Day. It then seemed to go away and started wearing my daily contact lenses again, however today the itchiness and redness has started again in both eyes. Don't want to take up Doctors time with something quite minor. Any recommendations?

I suffered from this condition some years ago DEE. My gp gave me a script for drops that sorted it out.

Are you sure it is conjunctivitis?
I was told I had it a few years ago and it turned out to be Iritis and I finished up going to the eye hospital as it got so serious.
Easily treatable with cream and drops.
Don't risk your eyesight so go to the doctors.

I believe it is also called Uveitis (though I am not sure if it is the same thing)
