Lower Abdomen Pain
10 Answers
Ive developed a pain to the right of, and slightly lower than, my belly button. Had it for a couple of days. Thought it could be my appendix but got no other symptons (fever, nausea etc). Its tender to touch but not excruciating. Any ideas? thanks.

The first lot of pains stopped but restarted three weeks later and just got worse and worse. I had no other symptoms until just before I had the op when I began feeling very sick. My son took me to A&E when I couldn't stand the pain any longer - advise that you don't wait that long! I was once told by a doctor that with appendix pain that if you press gently on the area it hurts more when you release the pressure which did seem true until it got too painful. Good luck. If it is appendicitis , I had the op Monday evening and was home Tuesday evening feeling very much better.
Thanks for additional replies, sorry didn't have time to reply yesterday. Woke up today and still the same tenderness. Seem to have lost my appetite as well, no supper last night and no breakfast this morning. Will see how it goes and go the docs on Monday if still the same. Thanks again for replies guys.
