have osteo arthritis in both knees, and walking is something i am find very difficult. the physio says i am better than i think, but she can't see me now

My left knee (osteo - a) has pushed me into getting an automatic car. The solution is a knee replacement. Same cause has led to 2 hip replacements , which have given me years of pain-free activity. I don't want sound harsh but having had arthritis since a teenager, get on and go on, has always been the advice.
It is very easy to slump into self pity and a can't do attitude, I know I've been there.
As exhausting as you may find walking, using your muscles to support your joints, pays dividends.
Keep your chin up.

Eccles is right - I have severe back pain a lot of the time after an injury a few years ago. Body tells me to sit on sofa with hot water bottle and pain killers etc. But brain says to keep moving (still take the pain killers) or else I will seize up. Am decorating a bedroom today and hurt like hell trying to do ceiling etc but has to be done. Hope you get some relief x
