Are there truly people in this world who can communicate with the dead or is it a cruel con trick? I have an open mind personally, but am interested to hear other people's views.

I spent years looking in to this. Attending spiritualist churches, private sittings etc. I looked, found nothing. Not saying that its not possible...just never came across any convincing evidence myself.

I saw 'Psychic Sally' at Middlesbrough Town Hall one Friday night.

IMO there are both. I've been given obscure info that I had to check and confirm, which was too weird to have been tried by chance by a con person, so I'm not going to write all off. That would be irrational given the experience. Search and try for yourself and make your own mind up.

Randi made it virtually impossible for anybody to win. He demanded all the rights to publish results as HE saw them. There was no comeback available for applicants to challenge said results...etc.
Even as a sceptic, to me Randis challenge was loaded to start with.

So, you have an audience of 50 - 100 folk wanting to get in touch with their dear departed to ask where they've hidden the money/jewels/incriminating evidence, etc, etc, etc. 2 questions arise from that scenario - well, many questions, really, but 2 will suffice for now; do those on 'the other side' form an orderly queue waiting to be brought forward. And why haven't any who have 'passed over' explained just what Heaven is like or if they've had the chance to meet God yet! Pure hokus pokus, imho.
