My Toe Is Randomly Numb

My big toe has went numb out of the blue!

No injury or previous injury, I havent been sitting on it etc- i can feel the sole of my foot/toe its the skin from my joint to the nail bed that is numb? I can feel the tip.

I dont have any numbness elsewhere but i have a slight sensation on the outside of my foot and up my calf!

Any ideas? No significant medical history x

I would never ever say anything detrimental to the nursing profession they deserve all the praise that they get and should definitely be better paid for the work they do.

I think there were some crossed wires Tinks, you can't annoy anyone - if it's bothering you get it checked.

Sometimes my toe nails are black due to trauma injury. Usually I whack them when frequently bare footed under kitchen units etc. I have cardio vascular disease with circulation that could be better. I was prescribed Thiamine tablets. Not sure if it is a Placebo effect but it seems to improve and lessen the numbness in my toes a little.

I have numbness on top of boI use acupuncture pen for arthritic pain, which helps but do not felon feet,but I do have M/S

Was not pleasant! Very greatfull to this day though for everyone!!! Im a better person for it!!!

I hate looking back to all those days!! Glad you are well too!!

Are you on medication? I'm on beta blockers which can cause numbness in extremities sometimes.

Yes actually i too take a beta blocker for anxiety!!

If it spread further id check it out but its just a small area xxxxx

Yes very much so in Urology- cant remember if I told you im a cancer specialist now? Loving it!! Feel very lucky!

Not had any heels on lately- wanting to wear some at weekend!! Lol x

Tinker bell, is it permitted for me to ask where you are as a cancer specialist,?the reason I am asking the treatment my wife got in the western general in Edinburgh was really excellent the care and compassion was unbelievable,truly dedicated people.XX
