I had a riding accident yesterday and have lost 2 hours, will I ever remember what happened?
Also the A&E doctor is a bit concerned about a possible fracture to my spine as he has said there is shadowing there.
Anybody experienced a fracture to the spine? I was told to rest whilst he got it checked by someone on Monday.
My head is splitting when will it be ok to drive?
after facing a traumatic accident is rather important, in my opinion. If you were not alone, the person could fill in the two hours. That may help you remember what happened.
I am assuming you were not alone. As someone told you, the first thing you thought about was "is the horse OK?"
Ask that person what happened during those two hours. It may come back to you.
Hope your suspected broken back feels better soon. Even if it just bruising and swelling i know how painful that is. I recently caused trauma to the wrist.
jesus there are some stoopid answers on this thread even for AB ( and that is saying something)
yes you will eventually remember
and you remember sooner if it is a mild head injury
and you regain memory more slowly if it is more severe
( and clearly there are some - not yours - where it never comes back.)
and there is nothing you can do to hasten the return - so the quezzies by and large ( was your granny with you? were you on a donkey or a horse or a zebra) do not affect the answer
// And to help answer that, people asked you questions to help further understand the situation.//
no the rate of return of memory is ONLY related to the severity of the head injury - mild quick - moderate longer
Oh golly lucky my greek verbs returned faster than the subgroups in the phylym invertebrata - nope .... doesnt occur
Grays anatomy - gone! gone ! after a boxing match with the radiologist
I hope you get well soon
pain - usual stuff paracetamol and or ibuprofen ( and consider ranitidiine if you are taking NSAIDS)
I don't know what Retro's issue is. I became ill recently and have lost 3 days. I didn't hit my head and I wasn't alone. I only know what I've been told but have no memory of my own. It's not unusual.
