Sorry about the previous unfinished post. I’m due to have a cardioversion soon and I’m wondering if anyone here has had one, and if so what can I expect please, I’m having it to hopefully fix my Atrial Flutter. Thanks.

Ludwigvan - I had cardioverďion over 18months ago. It was a simple painless procedure done in a day and in my case it has been very successful. Good luck.

Thanks Rosie, I’m glad yours was a success, I know it doesn’t work for everyone and even if it does it may not be permanent so fingers crossed.

anyone on AB who has AF will confirm what a pain in the arriss it can be ( you sortta need your atria )
