I’ve always had normal periods, rarely any pain. Till this last week. I was in the lounge when I felt I was wetting myself so I thought god how embarassing and ran to the loo. But it wasn’t wee - it was blood/clots, literally like I was going for a wee. I was shocked. Couldn’t move once I’d sat down but when I did well, took a while to clear up is all I’ll say. And horrendous lower pelvic pain. Finally eased off and all was ok till that evening - then the same again! Couldn’t leave the house as I was going thru all my clothing. And now same again today.
I’ve spoken to a couple of friends roughly my age and none of them have ever had this. I’ve not been thru the menopause but I know you can at anytime really from late 30’s to whenever. Is this the peri menopause or is something medically wrong? I can’t sit on a chair without covering it in several towels etc.... TIA x

Well maybe what purist says is what’s happening in some form - thankyou
I was thinking that too squad. Doctor once told me stress can play havoc with your menstrual cycle.
Smowball....have you phone the doctor yet, as you said that you would do?
Could it be internal haemorrhage from the fall? Your fingers were so badly broken you had to bend them back so you may have done something else as well
I saw them sqad, did I miss a reply ?
don't panic but do talk to a doctor. I had similar when perimenopause really kicked in but yes there are other possibilities. If it is menopause related there are meds that can control this and no reason to put up with it.
RR....;-)
This is the NHS sqad - shes probably got an appointment a week next Friday. I'm sure she'll be back with an update...….
Or just thinking could it be related to your blackouts?
When was your last one?
anne...no....no reply just that the thought had been brought to the fore.
Auntpolly I walked in to my gp Monday morning and was seen within 10 minutes, the receptionist joked that I looked that bad I obviously needed help!

Lol I have no problem in having the Mickey taken out of me, none whatsoever, but ex husband WAS shot and RR you do not get internal haemorrhaging from broken fingers!!
If you have bleeding that lasts longer than 7 days per period, or is so heavy that you have to change your pad or tampon nearly every hour, you need to talk with your doctor. To find out if you have menorrhagia, your doctor will ask you about your medical history and menstrual cycles.

I’m glad I’m so amusing lol. No seriously I appreciate all the replies.
I didn’t say you did!!
What i said was your fall was so bad perhaps you did hurt yourself elsewhere !
Perhaps you should read your responses
Yes Rockrose but Smow says she lives in London so the GP's will be quite busy ,all those stabbings and shooting etc.
Smowball you are not amusing.....people are giving responses based on your recent posts about the traumas in your life. Stress can come out in physical ways, one being a change in a woman's menstrual cycle.
Have you any feedback from my post 10.29?
I think the penny has maybe dropped sqad. Hopefully she's at the doctors now and will get back asap to let us know how she's got on.
