Yet in todays Telegraph there is an article heading Fall in viral load raises hopes next wave may be less deadly. Sorry cannot find a link, I have the paper in front of me.

the viral load argument I have never understood - if you are infected by a gob of mucus you have a higher chance of dying than infected by a little mousey breath.
when do you start showing signs - surely when you have x virus on board. and what does it matter if you started off with eek or a great amount?
