Have you been given some proper painkillers to take in the evening yet? It might take a bit of experimenting, but hopefully there will be something that can help.

The headache is probably from the flu. Just try to rest...don't fight it. Sleep will come if you let it.

There is a chemical in lettuce which helps induce sleep. I found out by accident many years and I swear by it now. Its also worked on little Tigs whenever I've made him a Caesar salad.

Have a Google... it's a legal form of cannabis, without the high or stoned effects. Very good for pain or anxiety, etc x

I'm feeling fine but have got loads I want to do tomorrow - ooops sorry today - and could really do with just drifting off. Are you just awake or in pain?

awake mostly, i think the naproxin is helping with the pain at least for now.
got up again to go to loo, went back to bed, but sleep won't come.
i too have chores and what not to do later, will see how many i get through.
