OH has to take his car to get break fluid done later and I offered to follow on so he did not have to wait for hours but he said no. Hope he doesn't change his mind. The garage is only about an hour's drive away but I don't feel like it.

Wish I could think of something to help but you seem to have been given most advice. Old receipe is finely sliced onion warmed up in hot milk. My mother and the rest of the family used to swear by it. Think it was something that came when they moved over here.

don't drink milk, can't abide the stuff, right now i am sneezing and wheezing, feeling sorry for myself, though i know that doesn't help

Hi Emmie, Pixie beat me to it with the CBD oil suggestion. I know a few people who take it for pain and they all swear it makes them sleep like nobody's business.

I would get some decent stuff on the Internet though (from a reputable supplier) as I doubt the stuff in Holland & Barratt is very potent.

I have a friend who uses that oil for a specific ailment and she feels it is most effective and helps her greatly.

as someone said earlier this too shall pass, sure that's the case, will have to bear up and get on with things.

the bit i hate is getting so hot that my clothes stick to me, then so cold i think i am in the arctic, it's this that makes sleeping difficult

Sounds really horrid. Just can't think of any other suggestions other than keep warm and dry.
