i do and find it difficult to stay asleep, i am now waking 4/5 times of a night, during each segment of sleep there are weird intricate dreams. I come to with the dream still intact then they fade away as i become more awake.
I am not anxious or anything like that, and go to sleep very easily now, so its not that i am awake, tossing and turning half the night. So if you have the same problem, i would love to know and what you do about it, if anything.
I'm much the same, hardly ever get more than two hours sleep without waking. I don't mind the dreams, it's interesting to remember what the subconscious mind is thinking. Supposedly, you're only meant to remember the dream you're having at the point of waking, so it's completely natural. It also means that you entered deep sleep, so that's positive, despite you waking.
i did ask the doctor, but there was so many that he gave up reading them to me. i will look on line and see what they say. I had a nice period of months where i slept right through the night, waking around 7am, which was nice.
I'm lucky insomuch as my dreams are usually fairly docile. There is always the occasional nightmare, but that's only natural. Hopefully it will die down for you as your system gets a little more used to the medication.
I don't know, I don't think it's something you need worry about though. The waking up would be more cause for concern if I was you. I think it's more likely a case of you remembering the dreams you would usually have forgotten because you woke during thems.
strange though to have suddenly started this, after as a say a period of calm, straight through sleep. One dream last night had my mother in prison.....which was quite disturbing.
I only tend to remember dreams when I have an unsettled night's sleep and wake up in the middle of one. A friend told me about "lucid dreaming" where you are conscious during a dream and can (to some extent) affect the outcome.
emmie, I have lots of dreams every night. They're not nightmares, but they are always very strange. Sleep patterns change quite often for me, sometimes I lay awake for hours and sometimes I fall asleep straight away. Don't know if there is anything you can do about having dreams though.
its been like this for a while, 4/5 different dreams a night,
and wake every time after each one, its difficult to pinpoint, i had got used to a fairly nice nights sleep, 8 hours no problem,
i wouldn't mind so much but some are really quite horrible.
not much but I did last night about a former friend, we were in a shop and stuff was laid out like a stall rather than on shelves, she had this weird necklace on , big silver balls, it was very odd indeed, I haven't seen her for years
