That's not 11 stones 6 and a bit pounds, it's 11 stone and 653/1000 of a stone

so he is actually 11stone 7 - as I was taught that after the point . if it is more than 5 then it goes up to the next rounded figure.

the correct answer is the first answer, 12:31 puts it into stones, lb and oz. Gawd only on AB could a simple arithmetic question cause so many answers.

JJ, you've been confused about weights in decimal before.

Eleven stone seven is 11.5 stone or 161 pound.

JJ he is 11.7 stone yes using that round up but that is not 11 stone 7 lb
for example 11.5 stone means 11 1/2 stones = 11 stone 7 lbs.
Google gives you the decimal value.

163 * 11 = 1793 shillings = £89 13s
the 2 oz = 55/16 * 2 = 6.875 new pence = 16.5d = £0 1s 4.5d.
so the final amount would be £89 14s 4d halfpenny.
