Hi Ab'ers, can anyone shed light on this, we have both been fully vaxed and boosted, we have both used the nhs for our covid passes online, all went well, got the qr codes, but it says they expire on 17th Dec 2021! Any idea why so short lived? Thought it would be at least a few months not 2 days!

Hi folks, Togo, the app required is simply the nhs app, it does not have any facility to ping you or scan other phones via bluetooth. It's the nhs covid app that does that.

No idea why your bringing that up Togo. I was simply correcting your mistake in thinking the NHS App that holds passports is the same App that does the pinging. You can hold either one or both. And they are not linked. They werent allowed to, thats why it was decided they after be seperate. Or are you saying even the NHS app probably has some secret goverment tracking in it? They cant even organise a secret chrismas party, how on earth could they organise that
