Don’t see a problem , for centuries people have been giving body sprays ,soaps and other toiletries are we suggesting the people we give them to have an odour problem no we do not .So maybe the good lady was having difficulties getting into her favourite trousers or skirt and this was giving to maybe help this .I could do with wan if the lady is not gonna use it .

For all we know she's probably been going on for months about how she'd like to lose some weight from around her middle.

Being a typical man he's probably made the mistake of taking those words at face value instead of reading the mysterious emotional subtext that a woman often intends, and doing something completely different like telling her that she's perfect as she is.

On the other hand if she's never mentioned her weight, then he's just a dkikhead.
