Those Who Have Had Covid Lately
63 Answers
I had a friend over today, having seen nobody over Christmas. Her whole family Took lateral flow tests before getting together over Christmas. However, when she got home from seeing me, she tested positive. I was just wondering what the likelihood is that I have caught it from her, bearing in mind she was technically negative when we were together? Has anybody else been in the situation?

My sister and I have to isolate until results are back- so have had to let all clients and relatives know as well... one of my sister's friends had tested positive on Christmas eve and several other friends recently (who we haven't been in contact with). I would just test, if I were you, anyway.

I do agree, nailit, this can't go on forever- the lockdowns and isolations are also harmful, particularly to vulnerable people. I'm really hoping this version is a lot milder, and it will end up more like flu. I feel like I have been battered over the head with it now, and don't trust any statistics any more (because they are only giving one side), but- still have to be careful myself, due to who I work with.
